Project 1 ULTRA 5000 SERIES-PU JOINT SEALANT is a one-component, polyurethane based, moisture curing adhesive/sealant that maintains permanent flexibility with high bond strength. Outstanding durability and superior adhesion. Ideally suited for use on window and door perimeter glazing, roofing, fascia, vinyl siding applications, transportation markets, manufactured homes, and substrates such as concrete, masonry, aluminum, wood, vinyl, clay/concrete roof tiles.

Specifications:ASTM C 557-73; Federal Spec TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A; ASTM C-920-87, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, M and A; Chemically acceptable to USDA for incidental food contact and potable water.

Use this product in the place of:
NP1, Sika 221, Bostik 1100, Tremco Dymonic, Premier XB 9500.

Warranty and Shelf Life:
Each application should be pre-tested for suitability of this product for the intended use. When stored in the original unopened container at 75 degrees F (24 degrees C) and 50% relative humidity is guaranteed for nine months from date of purchase.

Instructions for use:

Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be dry, clean, free of dirt, moisture, loose particles, oil, grease, asphalt, tar, paint, wax, rust, waterproofings or other contaminants. On metal surfaces, remove scale, rust, or other coatings to expose a bright white surface. Aluminum window frames are frequently coated with a clear lacquer that must be removed before application. Clean concrete, stone, and other masonry surfaces by grinding, sandblasting, or wire brushing. Expose a sound surface free of contamination and dust. Wood surfaces must be clean and sound. Scrape away any paint to bare wood.

Very Low VOC Poly-Sealant

Project 1 4000 SERIES-MODIFIED POLY-SEALANT A one-part, gun grade, moisture curing, low modulus sealant which cures at room temperature and is paintable. It skins over much quicker (20-30 minutes) than most general-purpose polyurethane sealants. Project 1 Modified Poly Sealant has exceptional adhesion to substrates such as bare metal where conventional polyurethanes fail. It and has no solvents or isocyanates. Use where a tough but flexible seal or bond is required, interior applications such as in automotive repairs, boat & yacht interior assembly, recreational vehicle or trailer assembly, window and door frames, ducting systems. Bonds well to marble, granite, cultured stone, and many other solid surfaces. Paintable. UV resistant formula also available. This sealant meets the GREEN criteria for very low VOC content.

Use this product in the place of:
NP1, Sika 221, Bostik 1100, Tremco Dymonic, Premier XB 9500.
